• Historic Downtown San Pedro comes alive every 1st Thursday of the month!  Art galleries and studios are open to the public from 6pm to 9pm. Shops are open late and live bands play on the corner of 6th Street and Mesa. Every First Thursday is a unique event with free music, dancing, and performances right on the street.

Meander the shops and galleries at your own pace or join the FREE one hour First Thursday Artwalk Tour which features a different itinerary each month, highlighting the diverse talents of local and visiting artists along the Arts District of Downtown San Pedro. The tour begins at the Chamber of Commerce Board Room Gallery (6:30 PM) and visits 2 or 3 galleries/studios each month. It provides an opportunity to hear from and talk to the artists and curators about their shows.

The picturesque downtown area features crisscrossing Tivoli lights, creating a fun and vibrate atmosphere.  You can dine at one of the various restaurants with cuisines ranging from American to English, Mexican, Mediterranean, Italian, Japanese, Hungarian, Thai, Organic Raw Vegan Cuisine and more.  If you’re not in the mood for a restaurant, Gourmet Food Trucks line the streets along 6th, 7th and Mesa.

Parking is always free in the downtown area after 6:00 PM.  The Red Car Trolley runs every First Thursday from 4 PM to 10 PM between Crafted and Downtown San Pedro.

• Las noches de las galerias, (ArtWalk), que ocurren una vez al mes. En el caso de San Pedro, Los Angeles, California, se desarrollan el primer jueves de cada mes. Las galerias y los estudios de artistas abren sus puertas para recibir a un promedio de ochocientos vistantes. El Dsitrito de las Artes cobra vida y adquiere un pulso diferente lleno de musica en vivo y vivacidad,  la gente camina disfrutando sabores y colores como asi tambien musica en vivo., hasta bien entrada la noche. 

Los ArtWalks del Distrito de las Artes de San Pedro, Los Angeles, California, se realizan todos los primeros jueves del mes desde las 6 de la tarde hasta las 10 de la noche.

El Distrito de las Artes ofrece gran variedad de restaurantes, Un Trolley de cortesia para recorrer comodamente toda la zona, y por ultimo un Tour educativo al visitar las galerias.
